PRAGUE 1606 - MULTIMEDIA VIEW OF PRAGUE BY RUDOLPH II.
House at the Golden Ring

In 1606, the important graphic artist and publisher Aegidius Sadeler conveyed to the city and the world the image of the capital of the Czech Kingdom. The copperplate drawing was created by Philippus van den Bosche and translated into copperplate by Johann Wechter. In 2019, in cooperation with the Museum of of the city of Prague, a nine-meter animation was created, which brings contemporaries an insight into the life of Rudolfinian Prague and its inhabitants.

To bring the picture to life faithfully, the animators moved about 150 independent characters that appeared independently during the 4-minute animation on the picture. We have ensured the synchronization of sound, light and image.
